Thanks for this great flashback. I grew up in West Covina in the 50's, a block south of Service between Larkellen and Valinda. The Walnut Creek wash was not cemented in then, and we played in the wash, catching tadpoles and playing in the water. Sadly, one of our neighbor boys drowned in the wash one night. Maybe that is when they cemented it in. Can you get a picture of the old Green Onion on Glendora/Hacienda just south of Francisquito? Loved the Huddle pics and the old WC Plaza, and the Burger Q
