THANKS so much for compiling this link !!!  It was terrific.  I grew up in Covina, moving there in 1954 at age 7, so I saw a lot of the changes.

 

But the biggest thrill was to see my Dad’s ‘Donut Hole’ in La Puente !!!!!!  He originally opened ‘The Donut’ on the corner of San Bernardino & Azusa in 1954, but always talked about having a Donut Shop where you drove through the hole.  Years later he was able to make his dream a reality !!  He’s gone now, but would really be tickled to know that his creation was in Wikipedia.
