Dear Gary:
Thank you for bringing back those memories of life in La Puente. We used to live on Sandsprings Drive, down the street from Bishop Amat on Fair grove. Just yesterday me and a friend from Bassett High School were looking at your chronicles. She and I were remembering what Food Giant and Thrifty's used to look like including the old In-N-Out Burger on Francisquito. Me and my sister reminisced what kind of ice cream our late mother liked from Thrifty's. Thank you for dedicating the La Puente memories to all us kids who grew up there.
