I really enjoyed  your web site  i lived there from 59 to 1968 as well as La Puente  my dad  was projectionist  at theEASTLAND, CAPRI AND EDGE WOOD THEATRES  as well as the old temple  city  myself and wife  went to MONTE VISTA   we lived on conlon but  we went to al those places my wife's brother  worked at the in and out on SB road  and Orange we still  go down there alot  because  we have relatives  still there  but it was the best times  of our lives we live in big bear now.

My dad passed away  quite a few years  back  we may have some pics it  was a gold color  orange letters  really nice  we lived in L P on las vicenas right  across from LP High School off Nelson im looking in to trying revive the old  star in LP at  this moment just  a shame  they took  the capri out i remember going there  when it was being built in 62 my grandfather  also ran movies allover the  area it  was all UNION so they put you where they needed you i frequented all those eplaces  as a kid i remember them building the plaza  my brother worked  at Greenes and marty music just  fond memories  bunch of us are on FB who lived on the block in WC and LP and we are planning a trip all of us and take pics

No problem  Gary just  glad   some one like your  self preserved  a very important time in our lives  we live in Big Bear my mom and  dad   went to see Liberace  in 65 at the carousel I'm   in the music  biz now  so many famous  artists i deal with played the  carousel  an di went to go see the rascals  there  as well and i told Felix  caviler  who  is th lead Singer  about that he remembers  the  carousel we also used to o to the old carousel  skating rink on SN BERNARDINO RD my wifes brother in law  worked  there i remember  when they built  queen of the  valley i went to the old  sunset school there in 65  th old pink place

my mom is looking   for the  Capri photographs  and a few others  and will send  those  to you  The  BIg CAPRI SIGN was Orange Letters The  upper Front was Gold the Building  was White  and Large Lobby windows  with tinted windows and a bi sign that  said  airconditioning
