I'm a big fan of your Crawford's blog...I grew up in El Monte and always loved going to Crawford's with my grandfather and mom and dad (as well as Carlton's, which was on Ramona Avenue and Cogswell, very close to our house).
By coincidence I was at a Goodwill in Glendale yesterday and bought four sets of vintage Christmas lights from 1958 - still in box (with cool artwork) and never opened. And one of the coolest things about them are the Crawford's price tags on them! If you'd be interested I'll send you a nice quality photo of one of the boxes and a close-up of the price tag and you can post it on your blog if you like. Or not, but either way maybe you'll get a kick out of seeing it.
